Do not use in a microwave or dishwasher. Do not use this product for other than its intended use. Do not place near open flames. Do not put in a refrigerator. Do not soak in (hot or cold) water for a long time.

Immediately wash and dry well with a soft cloth after use. Wash with care. Do not use abrasive cleansers or steel wool. Avoid direct sunlight, dry well after use and store in a dry place.

To remove the smell of new urushi ware, it is effective to keep in a rice bin or bag for a few days, or clean with diluted vinegar. In rare cases, some people may experience an allergic reaction to lacquer.
